I had a delightful stay at Mercure Hotel Duesseldorf City Center. The location is superb, just a short stroll from the central train station and the charming old town. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making my arrival and stay feel warm and welcoming.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the main railway station, making it easy to explore the city. I particularly enjoyed the bar area, which was a nice place to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and the early check-in was a pleasant surprise that helped me settle in quickly.

The location is unbeatable, just a short 5-minute walk from the main train station and surrounded by fantastic dining options. The staff was friendly, but I had to deal with the key card needing activation everyday like I was fulfilling some weird task. Oh and the shower, it had a serious trip hazard with the plug right in the center, totally unsafe.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the super comfy bed which made for great sleep and the lovely breakfast that fueled my adventures. Relaxing in the lounge area after a long day was perfect, and the fitness center was a nice bonus for keeping active. The only thing I noticed was the slow elevator, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

For those seeking dining nearby, numerous Turkish eateries are a short walk away. Just be mindful of the cleanliness of the vents and dust in the room.

During my stay, I appreciated the excellent breakfast, which was so plentiful that it lasted throughout the day. The hotel is conveniently located just a six-minute walk from the Hbf, making it easy to explore the city. My room on the third floor was quiet at night and cleaned daily, providing a comfortable environment for rest between business engagements.
